A new report released by the Center for Disease Control Prevention has revealed that between 2007 and 2010 47.5% of Americans were taking prescription drugs. That’s nearly half of all Americans! Surprised? The number of Americans taking prescription drugs between 1988 and 1994 was only 39.1%.
