 The state of Maine recently passed the bill referred to as, LD 171. It is now know as amendment S-241. This historic amendment allows personal prescription drug importation, making Maine the first state to pass this legalization. Residents of Maine who need prescription medication will be positively impacted. Due to the very high prices that pharmacies are charging for medications in the United States: Tens-of-millions of U.S. Citizens are not taking their needed medication because they cannot afford to purchase them.
