Pharma marketing and user-generated content

Here’s a promo for CBI’s eMarketing for the Pharmaceutical Industry Conference, scheduled for March 7-9:

While the conference intends to help Big Pharma learn to harness social media tools, it raises the question of whether these tools will ultimately strengthen — or disrupt — Big Pharma’s stranglehold on consumers.

My guess is that Big Pharma has at least as much to fear here as to exploit.
