Inflammation triggers a low level immune system response, so the body starts to attack healthy tissue. This leads to painful joints and feeling tired all of the time.
And since an acidic environment lowers the amount of oxygen that is present, a person will also feel like they are constantly not getting enough air.

One of the main reasons that people develop high pH levels in their body is by eating an unhealthy diet.

Because of this, the body never gets the right amount of nutrition that it needs to heal itself properly.
Reversing an Acidic Environment
In order to heal the body, a person must make the body more alkaline.
This can be done by eating a healthy diet, avoiding sugary drinks, and drinking alkaline water.
Alkaline water is sold in many health food stores, but purchasing it can get to be expensive after a while.
Because of this, many people are starting to make their own.
How to Make Alkaline Water
You can easily make your own alkaline water by using the three inexpensive ingredients below:
- 2 liters of distilled water
- 1 tablespoon of pink Himalayan salt
- 1 organic lemon, sliced and cut into 8 wedges
- In a glass pitcher, combine a tablespoon of the Himalayan salt with two liters of the distilled water.
- Add the 8 organic lemon wedges (do not squeeze).
- Stir the mixture until the salt is completely dissolved.
- Let it sit in the refrigerator overnight (8-12 hours).
The next day, drink three cups of it as soon as you wake up.
For the best results, drink it on an empty stomach.
Repeat this process on a daily basis.
Always use organic ingredients for this drink because any excess chemicals could stress the body even further.
Also, make sure that you only use a glass pitcher to make the alkaline water in because plastic leaches harmful chemicals into water.
Testing the Results
It takes time for a highly acidic body to heal, so the results won’t be overnight.
However, you can test your body’s pH levels with test strips that you put into your saliva.
Once your body reaches the optimum pH, you can taper down on the alkaline water, but be sure to maintain the results by eating the proper diet.
