1.) Green Tea
Green tea is full of antioxidants. These can help to boost hair growth and prevent hair loss.
To use green tea, apply it with used tea bags. Apply it to your scalp and then leave it for an hour. Be sure to rinse after use with lukewarm water.
Remember, used tea bags can be used for other health and wellness purposes, so be sure to hold on to them after making your drink.
2.) Avocado Oil
Avocados are rich in vitamin E and are wonderful for your hair. Whip together an amazing avocado hair mask by using: 1 ripe avocado, 2 tablespoons olive oil and 2 tablespoons honey.
Combine them in a small bowl and mix them until it’s nice and smooth. Apply this when your hair is nice and damp, all the way to your ends. Then wrap it up in a shower cap, and apply some heat for about 15 minutes—either with a blow dryer or, or by sitting out in the sunshine.
Then let it sit for about 35 minutes and then was and condition your hair as you normally would. That’s it!
3.) Lemon Juice
When it comes to home remedies for hair growth, one that isn’t as common is lemon juice.
However, lemons are full of essential vitamins and nutrients. The only drawback is if you use it excessively, it can lighten your hair.
To use it for hair growth, mix the lemon juice with two parts olive oil. Once combined, apply it to your hair and leave in place for up to 45 minutes. You can do this twice a week.
4.) Coconut Milk
Coconut milk can provide your hair with much-needed substances such as essential fats, potassium, and iron.
It is best to get fresh coconut milk, instead of buying it in a carton.
Before use, add in a half of a squeeze of lemon, mix and create a mask. Leave it on for four to five hours before rinsing.
5.) Scalp Massage
One of the leading causes of hair loss in men is inadequate circulation. Massage can help to improve circulation and stimulate the growth of new hair.
If you want to see results in as little as a month, try to massage your scalp at least once a day for approximately five minutes.
6.) Change Your Diet
Hair loss may occur because of nutritional deficiencies. Making small changes in your diet can help.
Reduce your intake of red meat and include plenty of nuts, fish, beans, whole grains and lean meats (fish, chicken, turkey, etc.).
Biotin is also essential. If you are deficient in this, you may notice brittle hair, a dry scalp, and dandruff. You can get plenty of biotin from yogurt, cheese, eggs, brown rice and oily fish.
7.) Apple Cider Vinegar
Touted as being a “cure all” by many, it isn’t surprising that apple cider vinegar is on this list.
Use this substance to cleanse your scalp. It will help to maintain the pH balance of your hair and accelerate growth.
To use it, make a diluted solution of 75ml of the vinegar into a liter of water. Make sure to rinse after use.
