Dealing with a cold you just can’t get rid of? Ditch the over-the-counter fixes and learn how to get rid of mucus naturally!

Here are 3 natural (and delicious) ways to get rid of your mucus in no time…

1.) Ginger Tea with Honey, Coconut Oil & Apple Cider Vinegar

Grab a big slice of fresh ginger and throw it into a covered pot of water and bring to a boil. After it boils, take it off of the burner and let the ginger steep for about 15 minutes.

When it is cool, pour the mix into a container to keep in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it. When you are congested, heat up one part of the ginger water to two parts of tap water.

Add in one teaspoon of raw honey, one teaspoon of coconut oil and one tablespoon of the raw apple cider vinegar. Drink and enjoy how quickly your sinuses are cleared up!

2.) Cumber, Celery, Mint & Ginger Juice

Combining these four ingredients makes a strong decongestant that will help to dislodge the mucus that is building up inside.

Cucumber and celery are both strong anti-inflammatories and will also help your body stay hydrated when you get sick. Using mint helps to dislodge mucus and gives the drink a fresh taste.

Ginger is known for having powerful decongestive qualities.

3.) Radish Juice

Sure, radish juice sounds both strange and gross to drink. But according to many sources, radishes are great for eliminating both wheat and dairy, which are actually two culprits of mucus in the body.

Not only that, the recipe is very easy to make and even better than it sounds! Take two bunches of radishes and juice them in a juicer along with two apples, three inches of ginger root, six celery stalks and one lemon.

Drink one cup of this mixture once a day for a week and you will quickly feel a difference in your congestion!
