I have terrible dry skin-
I have tried numerous lotions and body washes.
Anyone want to recommend something to me- It's my legs and my feet. |

You may want to try a dermatologist. Normally dry skin is worse in the winter months. How often do you use your lotions, etc.? It could be the start of something else and it is best to get it checked out.

You may want to talk with your doctor just in case its a symptom of something else but in the meantime, make sure you are drinking plenty of water daily as your body can't hydrate the skin without it. Make sure you're not taking overly hot baths or showers as that can be very drying and moisturize right after bathing while skin is still damp. |

Your doctor might be able to prescribe something stronger to you. I would also recommend taking an oatmeal bath (put some oatmeal in a sock, tie, and throw into the tub water). But don't let yourself sit in soapy water. |

I'm not sure any body wash/soap can really make a large impact on moisture compared to lotions and when you apply them. Drinking enough water, exfoliating, and applying a lotion after bathing is your best bet. I know in the winter I get very dry feet and I use a hoof treatment for horses instead of regular lotion. Its something like a body butter without all the dyes and scents. |

That is funny- I have used udder balm type of stuff for my feet from time to time but never anything for horses.
I drink plenty of water- and it's odd it's only in my leg and feet area.
I need to make sure I get up and lotion after every shower. I do tend to use really hot water. |

There is a great cream called E45 that I use on dry skin, it is very effective. |
