Doctors Secrets

I ran across this article and was appalled. This is the sort of thing that makes the average person uncomfortable talking with their Doctor. I think these types of attitudes can cost live IMO.

When I read this I tried to put myself in the Doctor's position and I can see how it would be frustrating day after day and agree with much of what was posted. If a person won't take responsibility for their own health as they should it would upset me quite a bit when they kept coming back for the same thing.

That's really bad. The Doctor should have thought better than be like that, it made me sad to read that article.

Some of them are decent and I could see myself doing the same, others are well over the line like the Oncologist, Santa Cruz, California person. What line of work do they think they are in?

You know....

Most people that don't follow doctor's orders aren't wiling to give up some part of their life they enjoy. There is also the group that knows their situation won't change and can't see any benefits from changing their lifestyle.

One of the issues that doctors deal with is that they are taught that they are entitled to exercise a certain amount of control over their patients. It is a hard lesson when they learn that they can't do that.
