Do you take vitamins do you think they work? I personally dont and think that a healthy diet is so much better for you. |

I take vitamins and herbal preparations regularly. They don't replace a healthy diet and I don't think they are meant to. They are a supplement that can help by providing nutrients that you may need more of than the food you are eating is providing. |

i agree. Notthing can replace a healthy diet, but I am not against taking vitamins if they are needed. I have to take iron suppliments, as directed by my doctor, and I can really tell the difference. |

Very True. They are called supplements because they are meant to work in correlation with a healthy diet. |

I take vitamin C when I feel a cold coming on and most times it will kick it out of my system with the quick boost. Otherwise just normal diet as I always have been. |

I totally agree about them supplementing a healthy diet, not replacing it. If you have absorption issues or food allergies, taking supplements can save your health. |

I do take vitamins as its hard to always ensure you get a full serving of every vitamin and nutrient. I don't use it as a reason to slack on my diet, but its nice to know I won't get ill because I'm missing my Vit C or calcium. |

I used to take vitamins and supplements but I don't any more. I try to eat a healthy diet and think that I get what I need from my foods. If I think I need extra vitamin C I make it a point to have oranges. If I think I need other nutriments as a supplement for some special reason, then I have a food that has that nutriment in excess.
When I took vitamins and supplements I never was sure that they actually made it into my cells to work. I now figure that I will spend the extra money on food and that will give the vitamins a good help to go where the body needs it to go to do any job required. |

I take the womens one a day, flaxseed, fish oil,extra D along with trying to eat healthier. I am not a fish eater so that why I take the fish oil capsules. |
