Ibuprofen may protect agianst Alzheimer's 

It looks like they have found some that Ibuprofen helps with besides headaches. According to the news, those who have taken Ibuprofen on a regular basis for 5 years may be less likely to develope Alzheimer's.

But the findings are not concrete enough to warrant advising patients to take a daily dose of ibuprofen, or any other type of NSAID.

Thats good news because Ibuprofen is my pain reliever of chioce. It seems to get headaches under control quicker and relieve my minor aches and pains well.

If this proves to be true then it's a great bit of information, since so many people use it already.

I just hope it proves to be true when they do more research.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is a theory right now, and not a fact?

That would be interesting to hear. What's the active ingredient in Ibuprofen that scientists are speculating that can prevent the disease?

Ibuprofen doesn't work for me, but I definitely might reconsider taking it every once in a while if this deems to be true.
