Giving up one health for the other. |

I was recently faced with a possible alternative, as it appears my work-out traditions are interfering with my medicine levels. That is, it is believed that my metabolism has gotten so high, that it is burning up my medicine too fast. I have to see my doctor to find out if I need to increase my dosages, or simply slow down. |

I`ve never heard of that happening. You will have to let us know what your doctor says. |

Its fairly common with people with very high metabolism, although you must have had a good metabolism to start with or have become a fanatic about exercise to cause such an issue just by exercising. Sometimes there are alternate meds which are more time release or they may give you more smaller doses to keep it in your system. |

Yeah...maybe they just need to switch you to something that won't metabolize quite as fast. Definitely something you'll have to talk with your doctor about. They say exercise is good for you too! Hmph! |

Thats something I have never heard of before, and it is very useful as my hubby has a quick metabolism and often says thing like regular pain killers dont do much for him for even a simple headache. |

This is a new one on me as well... May I ask what meds are you taking? Is this something you need on a daily basis? |
