Drug Help

A few weeks ago someone here said that they found out that a friend was having troubles because of drug addiction and asked for ideas on how to help.

We all gave ideas. But I just saw that same question on a TV ad and they gave this number to call to help you get your friend help.

It's 1 (800) 662 HELP.

They say to call to get good, sound ideas on what you can do to help your friend or relative get away from drug addiction.

I thought it might help. I hope the person who asked for information sees this.

You also have to remember that the person addicted to the drugs has to want help or nothing you do will help them.

Hey skatss that is great that you came back and followed up with that. I have actually seen an ad as well that gives that number and it would be a great start if they could talk their friend into giving it a shot.

I agree- I think its super that you came back to help when you saw something to help with.
I think these hot lines are wonderful- but only if the people call them. Like lilbit said- the people have to want to stop taking drugs or stop the addiction they have- That is the first step.
