Pain in heal

I have a pain in my heal that keeps getter worse. I'm not sure what it is but lately I have started feeling a pulling sensation along with the pain. I was thinking maybe a stress fracture but now I'm not sure. Any ideas?

You might have stepped wrong or twisted it somehow. If it is a fracture you should see your doctor. I don't know what could be done for it but your doctor might be able to give you some medication to help out with the pain.

The pulling sensation might be the fact that you are using a muscle differently because of the pain.

Have you tried wrapping it for support?

I would definitely get it checked out whether it is a fracture some sort of strain or pull if it is continually getting worse I would not ignore it. It may be a symptom of something worse.

I tried to get an appointment with a podiatrist but couldn't get in until mid September so today I'm going to try to get to see an ortho Dr. It is very tender to the touch as well and there was no way I was waiting that long.
