I Can't Believe It Worked!! 

My wife recently had a summer cold and was absolutely miserable. She would cough all night long and couldn't sleep. I remember hearing about using Vicks on the soles of your feet and wearing socks at night to help the cough. We tried this and it worked!! Her cough eased almost immediately after she went to bed. I'm not sure how it works but I'm a believer in it now!

This is something I have read a couple different places online and some are in just the oddest places you would think to talk about being sick and remedies. If it works you know, don't change it.

Sometimes it doesn't matter whether you understand how something works. What really matters is that you got the results you needed. I'll have to remember this one because I sure wouldn't have come with it by myself.

Good tip and something I will definitely try the next time I get a cough. Anything that eases the symptoms of a cold is something I need to try.

I would imagine its a mix of the menthol and your feet being temperature points. Vicks is definitely a nice old-school remedy worth keeping about the house.

Wow! Thats incredible that it worked! I have heard about that too. I think it was posted in here not too long ago, actually. But I didn't think it would really work. I will certainly have to try it the next time I or one of my family members gets a bad cold. Thanks for the tip!

It is illogical at all but if it works, who cares? I might try it myself. Who know? It might cure me of my cold!

I have never heard of this! How interesting... I wonder whether it makes your feet warm? Because if it does, I know of a similar remedy - hot foot bath. I have tried it, and it does help to fight cold as well.

I have also heard of this but I thought it was silly. But if it works then the next time I get a cold thats what I`m gonna do too. Cool!
