Frequent Itchiness in the legs!

I seems to be getting more itchiness on my legs. I have seen a doctor and he has prescribed a topical cream to be applied on these irritation of mine. Well, it did make the irritation goes away but not the return of it. I am wondering whether any of you have any recommended treatment for me to get on the net.

I have tried cream as well. For me it was the detergent I was washing my clothes with that caused my problem.

There are all sorts of things that can cause the reaction, but I really think the cream you have been prescribed will be the best thing for it, unless you can find out what is causing it.

When my skin gets extremely dry in the winter, my legs will itch almost unbearably. I find that if I increase my water intake and use a good moisturizer it helps.

Overly hot showers or baths can also aggravate the problem. Hot tubs are included in this unfortunately.

Have you changed anything recently, like your detergent or lotion?

Try and not over do any hot water washes or putting on too much lotion on the skin of your legs. Doing too much can also irritate the skin.

Follow your doctor's instructions and try to keep too much sun off your skin too. Summer heat can certainly bother any symptoms you already might have.

Definitely try and switch up your detergent and stay away from anything with a fragrance or that is perfumed.

was ita ll of a sudden?
did any medication your on change or have you added a new medication? has anything changed. usualy you can pinpoint what small thing ahs changed to lead ot the problem.

HAve you tried a better level antihistamine, Something that blocks all leukotrines?

Aveeno anti itch woudl probably help.
its compatible with all topicals and orals. Also anything with lidocaine will help to quell it.

Is this just a dermal issue or does the itching go deeper? Some people with restless leg syndrome often complain of an "itchy" feeling in their legs.
