I can`t really tell the difference. I guess I`m so used to things from different countries. What kinds of things are you talking about? I can check my stuff and see if they are made in the USA and see how good they are.

I rarely see American-made product anymore, so I really don't know if they are getting cheaper! I know some of the best product I own are not American made, but they aren't made in China or one of the other common places either.

I know my products that I amke are american made ( i make dolls/toys, aprons, bonnets- baby and adult) and most people dont want to pay what I charge, which is not alot. theywoudl rather have foreign or pay a huge amount which I am slowly coming accustomed to charging.

I'm not sure if you mean cheap price wise or poorer quality. I find everything is becoming poorer in quality unless you're paying more than the average cost at Walmart. As for price I haven't seen a trend in anything from the US getting cheaper, but more of a leveling of costs. While US products aren't rising too much, foreign good are so the once expensive $20 US shirt is now reasonable compared to the $17 foreign shirt that used to be $12.

I think everything is starting to look more cheaply made. I have always thought that the quality of some types of American made products were pretty poorly constructed as far as durability but I think that goes for all other countries as well on some products.
