Vicks Vapor Rub 

Does anyone still use this stuff? Do you find the new formula to be as effective as they old one?

I found an old jar recently, unopened, that was seventeen years old! Boy was that stuff potent when I opened it, and it kicked the rear of the new stuff.

I have never used Vicks. I know that it's good to breath in those vapors to help keep your nose and lungs clear, or to make them feel clearer, but I could never stand to have that goo rubbed on me.

I dont think I have tried the new one yet, what should be better? I dont think I have used the older one in quite sometime either so maybe I will pick up some next time I am out and see if there is any difference or not.

There is a new formulation? I think I use the regular one, and it works great. I use it on the sickie's foot, and put a sock over it. I know it's supposed to be an urban legend, but it works for us.

I love the stuff. it really helpd unblock stuffy noses and is great for kids.

My grandmother used to make her kids eat a bit of vicks when they were sick! Ewww! I don't think I could make myself swallow it.

I always have a jar of Vicks about. Nothing works better for some things and its never let me down. I haven't tried the new cream which is supposed to soak in the skin or some sort (I think) but I have tried the Vicks tissues and Breathe Right strips and they work well too.

The old stuff did seem like it was a lot stronger. I guess its because of the change in the formula. Companies don't want you using the same jar for years now.......buy new ones. lol

I've heard that putting it on your feet if you suffer from sinus type of problems and sleep with socks on over it helps a whole lot. I've used it before, and also have used the cherry smelling stuff as well on my kids. I don't so much anymore though. I didn't even know they had reformulated it!

I haven`t tried the new kind either. I like the old one though. It works great. My kids always hated having it on their chest .

My mom sweared by it and I still use it today on my kids and it still works very well.
