Pressure Points for Pain |
|
|
I have heard that certain pressure points on your body can be used to reduce or alleviate pain. Have you heard about this? and what pressure points help which areas? |

I have heard that certain pressure points in the feet react with certain parts of the body. I suppose it is the same sort of thing when you look at acupuncture. |

There is a point on the on the skin between your thumb and pointer finger that, when pressure is applied, can help alleviate headaches. |

This is incredibly true based on accupuncture and the idea that within the hand, foot and ear there are points which relate to the entire body. The point between thumb and pointer finger for headaches is one such spot and you can often feel how tight it becomes when you have a headache as opposed to normally. |

I have helped people by rubbing certain parts of their feet and yes, the place between your thumb and pointer fingers does help alleviate headaches but not get rid of really bad headaches. It does help though. Rubbing certain parts of your face and head help too. |

Any time you cause someone to relax, which is what happens when feet are rubbed, extremely minor pain can be alleviated. |
