This will depend a great deal on the severity of the asthma. I have very minor asthma and except when I get a chest cold I do not use a puffer. Hops have been shown to have a beneficial effect on asthma however I don't recommend you start having your kids suck down beer. Hops tea is available but they likely will not like the stuff. I don't. Limited amounts of caffeine have also shown some benefit. Again I would be very cautious with that. I am sure there is more info out there. |

One thing you can do is make sure their environment is as clean as it can be. Hepa filters might be of some help |
