I was wondering if there were any alternatives out there for asthma, other than the regular inhalers that we are all familiar with. |

I was given coffee by my mother when I would have minor attacks as a child. I don't know if that's just an old wives tale though. |

My son has mild asthma attacks and just taking deep calming breaths helps him most of the time. Also using something like Vick's Vaporub helps him as well. However when the attack is bad only the albuterol will help. |
