A study on St. John's Wort and ADHD

There was a test done using St, John's Wort with children and teens between the ages of 6 and 17 who had been diagnosed with ADHD. The AMA found that subjects receiving St. John's Wort to treat their ADHD, did no better than those receiving a placebo.

We should be happy that the study was done. Instead of the AMA ignoring the possibility that St. John's Wort could be a natural alternative to Ritalin and other pharmaceutical stimulants.

Do you think this shows a step in the right direction?

I know it sounds horrible but I honestly do not know if we would ever find out something such as St Johns Wort actually did work. It does not pay for them to offer up natural remedies.

What do you think?
