As ZDNet’s Dan Farber reports today:
I ran across a post from Lauren Turner, who works for Google as an account planner selling ads to the healthcare industry. In the post on what is called the Google Health Advertising blog … she assures potential advertisers that Google can help protect them from the negative impact of [...]

If you ever wondered whether Big Media was in cahoots with Big Business, check out Maria Bartiromo’s hemming and hawing in covering for the New York Stock Exchange’s banning of Michael Moore.
Moore does some more great evangelizing on our broken healthcare system, by the way.

Will Big Pharma start hiring Girl Scouts as drug reps?
June 26th, 2007 · 1 Comment
It might not be as far-fetched as it sounds. According to Jim Edwards at BrandWeek.com:
[Johnson & Johnson] will launch a promotion this month, in which churches, charities and nonprofit groups—such as the Girl Scouts—will be encouraged to sell J&J’s painkillers and cough medicine to their friends and neighbors. For every purchase of a J&J [...]

Glaxo says to expect “gas with oily spotting” [...]

Splitting pills slashes drug costs
June 22nd, 2007 · 2 Comments
MSN has a helpful article on saving money on your prescription medications by splitting pills:
In pill splitting, patients cut larger-dose tablets in half to double the amount of smaller-dose pills they receive in a single prescription — for example, dividing 40-milligram tablets to create twice as many 20-milligram doses for the same price. And since [...]

Will Big Pharma perves sneak a peek at “Sicko”?
June 18th, 2007 · No Comments
Michael Moore has sent out an invitation to pharmaceutical lobbyists to view his film “Sicko” at a free showing later this week. These are the same lobbyists, of course, that he rightly unloads on during the movie for their ethical shortcomings.
According to MSNBC,
Moore is running “Sicko” promotion ads in Washington newspapers listing more [...]
