I take Wellbutrin XL for depression. I take the XL (extended release) so the medication works for me all day and not just for the first few hours like the regular medication did. One thing that I found is that I can get drowsy with it while most people realize an increase in energy.

Positive Aspects of Wellbutrin xl:

a little weight gain, some drowsiness

weight gain is not very significant and is manageable. drowsiness, for me, however became a problem so I started taking my Wellbutrin XL at night rather than in the morning and this is much better for me. I get the effects of the antidepressant without the drowsiness during the daytime.
