Additional Comments:

I really like DayQuil because it is very fast acting, and doesn't make you drowsy like other cold medicines. However, I would not recommend taking at night before bed. It is hard for me to fall asleep after taking, and when I finally do fall asleep, my sleep is very restless.

leaves a nasty taste in my mouth, even when taking by pill form

I love dayquill, and nyquill as well. They are both great for helping you "survive" a cold when you can't just lay around all day.
